Job Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Ecokart Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Junior Accounts Executive to support our Accounts & Finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, practical knowledge of Tally and voucher entries, and a positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Make accurate voucher entries for receipts, payments, purchases, sales, and expenses.
Maintain and update accounting records in Tally.
Assist in maintaining cash and bank transactions and related records.
Verify bills, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Assist in reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Assist the senior accounts team in routine accounting and financial activities.
Support preparation and maintenance of expense statements and other accounting reports.
Coordinate with internal departments for collection and verification of required documents.
Assist in month-end accounting activities and other assignments given by the Accounts/Finance team.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Perform any other accounts-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Qualification: B.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce.
Minimum 6 months of experience in an Accounts/Finance role.
Basic to working knowledge of Tally.
Good understanding of voucher entry and basic accounting principles.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills

Practical exposure to day-to-day accounting activities.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
Basic understanding of GST and other statutory accounting requirements will be an advantage.
Candidates who demonstrate willingness to learn, adaptability, and a positive attitude will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a sincere, responsible, and detail-oriented candidate who is interested in building a long-term career in Accounts & Finance.

Freshers with relevant practical exposure/internship may also be considered, provided they have good basic accounting knowledge and a strong willingness to learn.
