We are seeking a talented and innovative MODULAR INTERIOR CARPENTER to join our amaZing Home Interior firm, who should be Malayali or from North India. 4-5 Experienced Candidates are most preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, bringing creativity and design expertise to various architectural and interior design projects. Basic Salary: ₹24,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
1. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Trade certification or diploma in Carpentry, Furniture Making, or related vocational training; a Bachelor’s in Interior Design or Architecture is a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in modular interior carpentry, specializing in residential projects like kitchens, wardrobes, and cabinets.
- Proficient in woodworking tools, CNC machines, edge banding, assembly techniques, and finishes for modular furniture.
- Strong knowledge of modular systems, laminates, hardware, space planning, and material properties.
- Attention to detail, precision craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills for custom installations.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication for coordinating with the foreman /supervisors and the site team lead.
- Expertise in on-site installation, measurements, and quality checks for modular interiors.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare precise cutting lists and material optimization plans for modular interior projects to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install modular furniture components like cabinets, wardrobes, kitchens, and storage units on-site or in a workshop.
- Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, and suppliers to execute plans, source materials, and resolve fabrication issues.
- Create 3D models or mock-ups as needed to verify fit and visualize modular designs before production.
- Operate machinery for cutting, shaping, laminating, and finishing modular elements with high precision.
- Conduct site measurements, installations, and quality inspections to align with client specs and safety standards.
- Stay updated on modular trends, tools, and sustainable materials to enhance craftsmanship.
