About the role:

Ability to clinically evaluate the patient, independently.
Taking decision and administer the modalities & procedures with high skill of performance.
Ensure service excellence with high standard of patient care.
Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty
Determine the extent of communication problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests
Identify treatment options
Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan
Plan treatment objectives and programs according to the results of evaluation.
Explains treatment objectives and methods to patients and their families.
Evaluate patient response and progress, and discusses with appropriate physician as and when required.
Evaluate and test procedures.
Record treatment given and update appropriate records daily.
Record patients progress on timely manner.
Maintain good & healthy relations with other professionals, including physicians, patients, patients relatives
To ensure that ethical professional practice is followed.
Knowledge of safe and proper operations of all equipment.
To comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.
To comply with patient safety policy.
To ensure safe utilization of equipment’s and proper waste disposal system.
Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
Work with patients to improve their ability to read and write correctly
Work with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow
Counsel patients and families on how to cope with communication disorders

Qualification: MASLP / BASLP
Location MAX@Home (Mumbai -Vile Parle)
