Front Desk Executive – School Administration

Organization: GD Goenka Public School, Hapur Road
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Administration / Front Office

Job Summary

GD Goenka Public School, Hapur Road is looking for a smart, presentable, courteous, and well-organised Front Desk Executive to manage the school’s reception and act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, students, vendors, and callers.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a professional personality, strong follow-up ability, and the confidence to handle a busy school front office efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist parents, visitors, guests, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Attend and manage incoming telephone calls and route them to the concerned department.
Maintain proper records of visitors, appointments, enquiries, and important communications.
Coordinate with the Principal’s Office, Administration, Accounts, Transport, Admissions, and other departments for smooth information flow.
Handle parent queries and ensure that concerns are communicated to the appropriate person without delay.
Manage admission enquiries received through walk-ins and telephone calls and provide basic information regarding the school.
Maintain and follow up on enquiry records wherever required.
Assist in maintaining student attendance and other basic records on the school ERP/software.
Receive letters, documents, courier, and official communication and ensure timely delivery to the concerned department.
Maintain visitor discipline and ensure that visitors are allowed access only after following the prescribed school protocol.
Coordinate appointments and meetings with school officials.
Maintain the reception area in a professional and organised manner.
Ensure confidentiality while dealing with student, parent, staff, and school-related information.
Perform other front-office and administrative duties assigned by the school management.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Graduate preferred; minimum Intermediate/12th Pass with relevant experience may also be considered.
Good command of English and Hindi, both spoken and written.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic working knowledge of computers, MS Office, email, and data entry.
Pleasant, professional, and presentable personality.
Ability to communicate confidently with parents and visitors.
Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy school environment.
Should be punctual, disciplined, responsible, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience as a Front Desk Executive, Receptionist, School Administrator, Admission Counsellor, or Customer Service Executive will be preferred.
Candidates with previous experience in a reputed school or educational institution will have an advantage.
