Job Title: Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts

Location: Mumbai.

Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Tax Regulatory Services, GST & IDT.

With a focus on quality, we provide accounting and consultancy services in assurance, risk advisory, tax and regulatory, corporate finance advisory and global knowledge services.

Responsibilities:

· Financial Accounting

· Maintain complete and accurate books of account

· Review journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.

· Ensure all accounting transactions comply with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

· Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and inter-company balances.

· Process vendor payments.

· Prepare MIS reports.

· Month-End and Year-End Closing

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Ensure timely closure of books as per the reporting calendar.

· Prepare schedules for consolidation and management reporting.

· Statutory Compliance

· Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, Companies Act, FEMA, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, PF, ESIC, and other applicable laws.

· Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections.

· Maintain statutory records and accounting documentation.

Key Skills & Attributes

· Qualification: Inter CA (Mandatory), with 7–9 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

· Strong expertise in Financial Accounting, Accounts Finalisation, GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax and Advance Tax.

· Hands-on experience in MIS, Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting.

· Good understanding of month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, AP/AR, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.

· Knowledge of statutory compliance including Companies Act, FEMA, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, PF and ESIC.

· Experience in coordinating statutory, internal and tax audits and maintaining statutory records.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

· Proactive, self-driven, result-oriented and willing to learn and adapt to evolving regulatory frameworks.

· Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills.

· High level of professional integrity, ownership and accountability.

· Good proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint and ERP/accounting systems.
