Full job description

A Business Development (BD) Executive for a pharmaceutical injectable plant is responsible for securing contract manufacturing (CDMO) projects, launching new sterile products, and expanding the company's B2B distribution networks. The role requires deep technical knowledge of sterile injectables, regulatory standards, and market analysis.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Business Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities for sterile injectable formulations, including liquid and lyophilized vials, ampoules, and pre-filled syringes.
Contract Manufacturing (CDMO): Negotiate B2B contracts, manage Request for Proposals (RFPs), and build long-term relationships with pharmaceutical marketing companies requiring third-party manufacturing.
Market Expansion: Research market trends, evaluate regional demand for injectable products, and map competitor pipelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affairs, and Production teams to ensure client requirements meet GMP compliance and registration guidelines.
Client Management: Act as the primary liaison between the injectable plant and clients, handling inquiries, coordinating technical audits, and resolving product or delivery concerns.

Essential Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, or an MBA in Pharma/Healthcare Management.
Experience: 2 to 6 years of proven sales or BD experience, specifically with B2B pharmaceutical manufacturing or injectable products.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of sterile manufacturing processes, cGMP guidelines, and dossier compilation.
Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling skills.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

Number of new CDMO or distribution contracts signed.
Revenue generated from new clients and product lines.
Successful conversion of leads into commercial projects.
Client retention and satisfaction rates

Pay: ₹11,529.63 - ₹40,927.77 per month
