Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming reservation requests, processing reservations, ensuring accuracy in bookings, and managing any modifications or cancellations as required. Additionally, you will liaise with various departments to ensure that guest preferences are noted and met, thereby enhancing their overall experience. Responsibilities

Manage and process guest reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all reservation details, including guest preferences and special requests.
Respond promptly to inquiries and provide information about room availability, rates, and facilities.
Handle modifications and cancellations of reservations while maintaining strong customer relations.
Collaborate with front office and housekeeping departments to ensure guest readiness and room assignments are managed efficiently.
Assist in the management of overbooking strategies while minimizing guest inconvenience.
Maintain an organized database of reservation records and guest information for reporting and analysis.

Requirements

Proven experience in a reservation or front desk role within the hospitality industry.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency in reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and rates to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate business operations.
