Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems.
Develop layouts for fire sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, hose reel systems, and fire alarm systems.
Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, and sectional details.
Produce General Arrangement (GA) drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
Prepare equipment layout drawings and piping routing drawings.
Modify drawings based on client comments and site requirements.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Project Managers.
Visit project sites whenever required to verify dimensions and collect site data.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and approved standards.
Support the execution team with technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation

Quality & Standards

Prepare drawings in accordance with relevant Indian Standards (IS), NBC, and applicable fire safety guidelines.
Ensure accuracy, readability, and consistency in all drawings.
Coordinate with consultants and clients for drawing approvals.

Required Skills

Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (2D).
Ability to prepare fire sprinkler and hydrant piping layouts.
Understanding of piping routing, fittings, valves, pumps, and fire protection equipment.
Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of MS Office.

Preferred Skills

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Draftsman Mechanical, or a related field.
AutoCAD Certification is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
