Roles and Responsibility

Nature and Scope

We are seeking an experienced tax and accounting professional with exceptional written communication skills to join our team as a Content Developer/ Subject Matter Expert (SME). The ideal candidate has recent experience in accounting, auditing, and/or tax and can confidently translate law and standards into clear, learner-friendly educational content.

The role involves reviewing and editing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the most current tax and accounting guidance and NASBA standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Content and Course Development

Collaborate with Tax & Accounting content team to develop, update, and publish online self-study courses.
Work efficiently to meet editorial deadlines.
Convert, review, and update existing course content to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with current NASBA standards.
Recommend improvements to existing courses.
Interpret and apply changes in tax law, accounting standards, and auditing standards to educational content

Other Responsibilities

Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes and accounting and auditing standards

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent (EA)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or demonstrated tax and accounting experience required
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities

Preferred Skills

Prior teaching, curriculum development, or professional writing experience
Experience developing tax, auditing, or accounting-focused educational content
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to interpret and clearly explain tax law and accounting changes
