Front Office Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional, customer-focused, and experienced Front Office Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations and ensure excellent guest service. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest queries and operational challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily front office operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
Welcome guests and ensure a warm, professional, and efficient service experience.
Assign rooms and coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status and availability.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and queries promptly and professionally.
Monitor front desk staff performance and provide guidance and support.
Ensure accurate billing, payments, cash handling, and daily front office records.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, amendments, and guest information.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, security, and other departments.
Prepare shift reports and ensure proper handover between shifts.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Assist with training and development of front office team members.
Handle VIP guests and special requests as required.
Support the Front Office Manager in maintaining smooth hotel operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel front office role, preferably in a supervisory position.
Good knowledge of hotel front office operations and reservation procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest-handling abilities.
Good computer skills and knowledge of hotel PMS is preferred.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
