Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and computer-savvy Quarry Weighbridge & Billing Operator to manage the day-to-day weighbridge operations and dispatch documentation at our quarry. The candidate will be responsible for accurate vehicle weight recording, preparation of weighment slips, invoices, e-Way Bills, Transit Passes and other dispatch-related documents.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the quarry weighbridge and record the tare weight, gross weight and net weight of vehicles accurately.
Verify vehicle number, driver details, customer details and material details before dispatch.
Prepare and print weighment slips for each vehicle.
Prepare sales invoices / delivery invoices based on the approved quantity and rate.
Generate GST e-Invoices, wherever applicable, and ensure the invoice details are accurate.
Prepare and generate e-Way Bills for applicable dispatches.
Prepare and print Transit Pass / Mineral Transit Pass as required by the applicable government system.
Ensure that the quantity mentioned in the weighment slip, invoice, e-Way Bill and Transit Pass is consistent.
Maintain daily records of vehicle movements, material dispatches and weighments.
Maintain proper records of cancelled/revised weighment slips, invoices and e-Way Bills.
Coordinate with the Quarry Manager, Accounts Department, Dispatch Team, Customers and Vehicle Drivers.
Check supporting documents before allowing vehicles to leave the quarry.
Maintain daily dispatch and sales reports.
Reconcile weighbridge records with invoices and dispatch records.
Handle basic computer operations, printing, scanning and document filing.
Immediately report any discrepancy in vehicle weight, quantity, documentation or dispatch details to the supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of company billing and dispatch information.

Required Skills

Basic to good computer knowledge.
Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Experience in operating computerized weighbridge software will be an advantage.
Knowledge of GST invoicing and e-Way Bill preparation.
Knowledge of e-Invoice / IRN generation is preferred.
Knowledge of quarry/mineral Transit Pass procedures is preferred.
Good numerical and data-entry skills.
Ability to check documents carefully and avoid quantity/weight discrepancies.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple vehicles/dispatches during busy hours.

Qualification

Minimum Any Graduate.
Candidates with experience in quarry, mining, construction materials, aggregates, RMC, logistics, weighbridge or dispatch billing will be preferred.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Freshers with good computer knowledge may also be considered if suitable.

Important

The candidate should be comfortable working at a quarry site and handling continuous vehicle dispatch operations. Accuracy in weight recording, invoicing and statutory documentation is essential.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
