The Department of Media & Journalism nested under the Faculty of Communication, offers specializations in Advertising & Branding, Digital Marketing & Communications, Film & Television Management and Journalism. The Faculty of Communication at FLAME University is inviting applications for the position of full-time Assistant Professor in Advertising & Branding.
While we welcome applicants from any area of Advertising & Branding ,we are particularly interested in applicants with an expertise in areas such as Introduction to Advertising, Marketing & Advertising, Brand & Product Management, Marketing Research & Analytics, Consumer & Audience Behaviour, Advertising Strategy, Brand Planning, Innovative Marketing, Retail Marketing and Communication, Luxury Brand Management Corporate Communication and Reputation Management.
Those with a mix of experience in academia and industry will be preferred. A Ph.D. (completed or nearing submission) is required at the time of application.
Faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching, advising students, participating in faculty colloquia, and academic administration. Our expectation is that a successful applicant will:
1. Undertake independent high-quality research as well as work actively with existing members to build a strong interdisciplinary community of scholars who are committed to delivering cutting-edge research and innovation
2. Translate research findings into evidence-based practices, programs and policies
