Full job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy is seeking an SAP FICO Application Analyst to join a team of highly experienced IT professionals supporting the company’s ambition to shape the future of the energy market.

This role provides global consulting and governance for Controlling and Finance processes across Siemens Energy ERP systems. The position will add value by driving process standardization and harmonization as part of the S/4HANA transformation program.

In addition, the role will collaborate with IT solution providers across various ECC6 systems to ensure stable business operations and the appropriate handling of issues and change requests.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 5+ years of experience in global governance, global demand management and business support for IT-integrated business processes.
At least 5+ years of experience in business process design in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO).
Knowledge of relevant SAP and S/4HANA Finance processes, including AR/AP/GL/AA, COPA, Cost Center and Profit Center Controlling.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Proficiency in German language is a plus.
Project management experience, including scheduling, quality control and change communication.
Willingness to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.
Implementation experience with a multinational company is preferred.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Develop new process solutions together with representatives of Business Units, Segments and IT.
Provide global demand management, process consulting and business support for the ERP systems.
Partner with key business contacts to create requirements and functional specifications for complex SAP developments.
Develop test cases and manage test activities.
Perform IT Project Management duties for small-to-medium projects.
Oversee IT providers for application maintenance and change requests.
Collaborate with other application teams, Basis & Security teams and the Service Desk team.
