Full job description

Keep our office running smoothly

We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Manager to join Linjemontage’s brand new Operation Center in Chennai. In this key role, you will ensure that our office operates efficiently while supporting administration, basic finance processes and HR coordination.

You will be the go-to person for colleagues, suppliers and external service providers. If you enjoy creating structure, managing several priorities and making everyday work easier for others, this could be the role for you.

As one of the first employees in our Chennai Operation Center, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape the workplace, ways of working and team culture from the very beginning. This is a hands-on role where your ideas and initiative will make a real difference as we build and grow together.

Your responsibilities

Office administration

Manage daily office operations and help maintain an efficient, welcoming working environment.
Coordinate office supplies, equipment and facility maintenance.
Handle incoming correspondence, phone calls and visitor management.
Organise meetings, travel arrangements and company events.
Maintain company records, documents and filing systems.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers.

Finance administration

Process invoices, payments and expense reports.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Maintain financial records and contribute to monthly financial reporting.
Coordinate with external accountants and auditors.
Monitor office budgets and operating expenses.
Help ensure timely payment of utilities, rent and supplier invoices.

HR coordination

Support recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave management and benefits administration.
Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Contribute to employee engagement and office culture initiatives.
Help ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies.

Who you are

To thrive in this role, you are structured, service-minded and comfortable taking ownership of a broad range of administrative tasks. You have strong attention to detail, communicate clearly and handle confidential information with discretion.

We believe you have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in office administration, finance and/or HR.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with accounting or HR software — this is an advantage.
