Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager – Hospitality & Adventure OperationsCompany: Tripforlife Watersports Pvt Ltd
Location: Rishikesh, Uttarakhand (Base: Head Office | Frequent visits to Dandela Campsite & Shivpuri Sales Office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: 15000 - 20000 per month Travel Allowances & Duty Perks
About : Tripforlife Watersports Pvt Ltd is a premier adventure tourism and hospitality enterprise based in Rishikesh. We operate river rafting and watersports operations, luxury camping and cottage accommodations at Dandela, and dedicated sales and guest-dispatch centers in Shivpuri.
Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead talent acquisition, seasonal workforce management, compliance, and employee relations across our resort and sales divisions. You will be responsible for building high-performing teams—from hospitality personnel to sales executives—while ensuring strict safety compliance, timely payroll, and seamless site operations.
Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Seasonal Staffing:
Source, interview, and hire field staff hospitality teams (Head Cooks, Service Stewards, Housekeeping Attendants for Dandela Camps), and sales executives (Shivpuri Sales Desk & Central Tele-sales).
Build talent pipelines with local institutes, adventure academies (e.g., NIM, ABVIMAS), and regional recruitment networks across Uttarakhand.
Ensure 100% operational staffing 15 days prior to peak seasonal rushes (March–June & September–November).
Verification, Onboarding & Safety Audits:
Manage 100% mandatory KYC collection and verification (Aadhaar, PAN, Bank Details, Police Verification/PCC) prior to staff deployment.
Audit and maintain physical/digital certification records for field crew (valid CPR, First Aid, and River Rescue Certifications).
Issue employment contracts, offer letters, NDAs, and safety policy agreements.
Attendance, Payroll & Roster Management:
Track daily attendance, leaves, and duty rosters across multiple sites (Rishikesh HQ, Shivpuri Sales Desk, and Dandela Campsite).
Coordinate weekly rotational off schedules with department heads to guarantee full operational coverage during peak weekend rushes (Friday–Sunday).
Process monthly payroll, sales commissions, overtime pay, and seasonal bonuses by the 5th of every month.
Policy Enforcement & Workplace Culture:
Enforce company discipline and the Zero-Tolerance Policy on alcohol/substance use during duty hours and within staff quarters.
Conduct weekly on-site visits to Dandela Camps & Cottages and the Shivpuri Sales Office to address staff grievances and operational bottlenecks.
Execute 30-day probation appraisals, manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and lead performance reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (MBA-HR preferred) or equivalent experience.
Experience: 6months to 3+ years of core HR experience in hospitality, eco-resorts, tour operations, or adventure sports.
Key Skills:
Proven track record in high-volume, seasonal, and field-staff recruitment.
Strong understanding of labor standards, contract management, and local verification procedures in Uttarakhand.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills in Hindi and English.
Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets, payroll management, and digital communication tools.
Travel: Willingness to travel regularly between the Rishikesh Head Office, Shivpuri Sales Desk, and Dandela Campsite.
