Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager – Amazon E-commerce to take end-to-end ownership of our product portfolio and drive product performance across Amazon marketplaces.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Product Management, E-commerce, or Amazon marketplace operations, with strong expertise in product strategy, market and competitor analysis, product launches, listing optimization, pricing, customer insights, and commercial performance.

This role requires a strong combination of product thinking, Amazon marketplace knowledge, analytical decision-making, and cross-functional leadership. You will work closely with Marketing, Amazon SEO, PPC, Creative, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Data teams to improve product competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned Amazon product categories, from market opportunity assessment and launch planning to growth, optimization, and portfolio decisions.
Develop and execute Amazon product strategies based on customer demand, market trends, competitive positioning, and commercial opportunities.
Manage and evaluate product performance across Amazon marketplaces using key business and customer metrics.
Conduct detailed market, category, competitor, pricing, feature, and customer-review analysis to identify opportunities and product gaps.
Build clear product positioning and USPs based on customer needs, competitor differentiation, and product capabilities.
Lead new product launches and coordinate launch readiness across content, pricing, inventory, PPC, SEO, creative assets, and operational requirements.
Work closely with Amazon SEO and Content teams to optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, image galleries, A+ Content, and Brand Store experiences.
Partner with Creative teams to develop conversion-focused main images, product galleries, comparison content, videos, and A+ Pages.
Analyze customer reviews, ratings, returns, search behaviour, and feedback to identify opportunities for product and customer-experience improvements.
Collaborate with PPC and Marketing teams to align organic and paid strategies around product priorities and growth objectives.
Monitor pricing, promotions, Buy Box performance, inventory availability, and competitor activity.
Drive structured A/B testing and experimentation for product listings, images, titles, A+ Content, and other conversion-driving elements.
Track and improve key metrics including Revenue, Units Sold, Conversion Rate, CTR, Sessions, Organic Ranking, Advertising Performance, Return Rate, and Profitability.
Build product-level performance reports and translate data into clear priorities and actionable recommendations.
Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to support inventory planning and reduce stock-outs or overstock situations.
Manage multiple products and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities, timelines, ownership, and measurable outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Product Management, Amazon E-commerce, Marketplace Management, Category Management, or a related role.
Proven experience managing physical/product-based businesses on Amazon.
Strong understanding of the Amazon marketplace ecosystem and customer buying journey.
Hands-on knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
Strong understanding of Amazon product listings, A+ Content, Brand Stores, SEO, PPC, pricing, promotions, and product launches.
Experience managing and analyzing a portfolio of multiple ASINs/SKUs.
Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, competitive research, customer insights, and product positioning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert marketplace and performance data into business decisions.
Understanding of Amazon CRO and A/B testing principles.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Creative, Marketing, PPC, SEO, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience working with reporting or analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing products across European Amazon marketplaces, particularly Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
Experience with consumer products such as fitness equipment, electronics, home & living, sports, or other physical product categories.
Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, DataDive, Jungle Scout, Keepa, Amazon Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, or similar Amazon intelligence platforms.
Experience with international product launches and localization.
Understanding of product profitability, contribution margin, landed costs, pricing strategy, and inventory planning.
Experience developing structured product roadmaps and working with international teams.

The successful candidate should be able to understand what customers want, how competitors are positioned, why a product is performing or underperforming, and what actions are required to improve its market position, customer experience, conversion, revenue, and profitability.

The role requires someone who can combine customer insights, product strategy, Amazon marketplace expertise, and data-driven decision-making to build and scale successful products.
