Job Description – Security Supervisor

Position: Security Supervisor
Department: Administration
Industry: Megha and omega group of institutions.

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all security operations on campus, ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, visitors, and institutional property. The role includes supervising security guards, monitoring campus activities, enforcing security protocols, and coordinating with the administration during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all security personnel deployed on campus.
Prepare and monitor duty rosters and shift schedules.
Ensure proper access control at all entry and exit points.
Conduct regular campus patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and respond promptly to security incidents.
Maintain records of visitor entries, security incidents, and daily reports.
Investigate security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, and submit reports to the Management.
Coordinate with local police, fire department, and emergency services whenever required.
Ensure discipline among security staff and conduct periodic training on safety procedures.
Verify the functioning of fire safety equipment and emergency response systems.
Assist the Administration Department during college events, examinations, admissions, and VIP visits.
Ensure compliance with institutional security policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Intermediate (preferred).
Ex-servicemen or candidates with prior security supervision experience are preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Security Supervisor or in a similar role.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
Familiarity with CCTV surveillance and access control systems.
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during emergencies.
Basic computer knowledge for maintaining security records.

Working Hours

As per institutional requirements (Shift-based, including weekends or holidays when required).

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
