Full job description

Job Title: Account Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the accounting department by handling day-to-day financial transactions, record-keeping, and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone starting or building a career in accounting.

Location: Village: Nigade, Pune-Satara Highway, Tal-Bhor, Pune-412205 (Between Kapurhole and Shirwal)

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Timings: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Friday to Wednesday)

Experience Level: Entry-level to 2 years

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions and journal entries in accounting software (Tally or Excel)

Process invoices, e-invoicing, vendor payments, and expense reports

Assist with accounts payable/receivable and payroll support

Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing issues

Handle general administrative tasks related to finance

Requirements & Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (preferred)

0-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (freshers may apply with strong basics)

Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Basic knowledge of GST/TDS

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
