Primary Responsibilities:

Provide product and software engineering leadership for the function by leading one or more scrum teams and own end to end implementation of solutions within schedule, budget and quality
Establish and control code quality standards, development best practices, defect-free code delivery by providing technical oversight for Full stack development in Java/J2EE based enterprise grade applications.
Come up with long term architecture roadmap for the existing products
Project Prioritization, Effective delegation, Manage and Support cross functional software engineering team
Provide technology leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required
Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders including Engineering and Product leadership.
Participation in Design reviews, Solutioning, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years total product engineering experience with solid foundations on engineering architecture, design thinking with 3+ years of managing teams experience
Technical Expertise - Proficient in handling software application development team using modern technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, RESTful APIs, SQL DB, DevOps
Good understanding of Development processes and tools - Sonar, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills including written and verbal skills with the ability to create and maintain solid relationships with members of cross departmental teams
Proven problem-solving skills and growth mindset
Proven to build and lead effective teams

Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
