Full job description

Position: Customer Service Executive
Department: Customer Service / Operations
Industry: NVOCC & Freight Forwarding – Sea
Location: Navi Mumbai

Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

Handle customer queries for FCL/LCL import and export shipments.
Coordinate bookings, shipment documentation, vessel schedules and cargo movement.
Provide timely ETD/ETA, vessel, container and shipment status updates.
Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCC agents, overseas agents, CHA, CFS/ICD, transporters and internal teams.
Release CRO, Follow up on SI, BL, DO, pre-alerts, customs clearance and delivery status.
Monitor shipment milestones and proactively highlight delays or operational issues.
Coordinate destination/origin requirements, amendments and special customer requests.
Resolve customer complaints and documentation/operational discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate shipment records, system updates and customer correspondence.
Ensure adherence to Company SOPs, service commitments and documentation cut-offs.
Coordinate with accounts/operations for freight, charges and shipment-related queries.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and overseas agents.Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline; logistics/shipping qualification preferred.

Shipment execution and milestone tracking.
Response time and complaint resolution.
Documentation and operational accuracy.
Coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Customer satisfaction and retention.

Candidate Profile

2–5 years' experience in Customer Service / Operations with an NVOCC, Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line.
Good knowledge of sea freight, FCL/LCL, import/export processes, CRO, BL, SI, DO, vessel schedules and shipment tracking.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Good command of MS Excel, email and logistics/shipping software.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and work under strict operational deadlines.
Customer-focused, proactive and detail-oriented.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
