Chief Marketing Officer / Head of Marketing & Network Development – ODNRole Objective

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Marketing Officer / Head of Marketing & Network Development to lead ODN's marketing, distributor development, training and network-building initiatives.

The primary responsibility is to build a strong, active and sustainable distributor network—not merely by recruiting people, but by developing capable distributors who can independently build, lead and grow their own teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Business Growth

Develop and execute ODN's overall marketing and business-growth strategy.
Build brand awareness and strengthen ODN's market positioning.
Develop customer acquisition, retention and referral strategies.
Identify new markets, territories and business opportunities.
Develop annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

2. Network Building & Distributor Development

Lead the strategy for distributor recruitment, activation, productivity and retention.
Develop systems to identify and recruit quality distributors.
Build a structured distributor-development pipeline:

Recruit → Activate → Train → Develop → Duplicate → Lead → Grow.

Develop high-performing distributors into independent team leaders.
Create systems that enable distributors to build and develop their own networks.

3. Training & Leadership Development

Design and implement a comprehensive ODN Distributor Training Academy.
Conduct product, sales, communication, presentation and business-building training.
Develop structured onboarding programs for new distributors.
Conduct leadership-development programs for high-potential distributors.
Create training content, manuals, presentations, videos and digital learning materials.
Build a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.

4. Distributor Engagement

Plan and conduct distributor meetings, conferences, workshops and business-development events.
Develop recognition and reward programs to motivate distributors.
Maintain strong relationships with key distributors and emerging leaders.
Understand distributor challenges and develop practical solutions to improve productivity and retention.

5. Digital & Field Marketing

Develop ODN's digital marketing strategy across social media, WhatsApp and other relevant platforms.
Create effective marketing campaigns, product campaigns and referral programs.
Support distributors with approved marketing materials and communication tools.
Integrate digital marketing with field-based distributor development.

6. Leadership & Team Building

Build and lead the Marketing, Training and Network Development team.
Recruit, mentor and develop strong marketing and training professionals.
Establish clear responsibilities, targets and performance metrics.
Build a leadership pipeline within the organization.

7. Business Analytics & Performance Management

Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor marketing and network performance.
Track:
New distributors
Active distributors
Distributor productivity
Distributor retention
Customer acquisition
Repeat business
Sales growth
New leaders developed
Territory expansion
Analyse market trends, distributor performance and competitor activities.
Present strategic recommendations and growth plans to senior management.

Candidate Profile

10+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Direct Selling, MLM, Network Marketing, FMCG, Consumer Products or Distributor Development.
Proven track record of building and scaling distributor networks.
Strong experience in distributor training and leadership development.
Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies at a regional, national or multi-market level.
Strong commercial understanding of sales, customer acquisition and retention.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and leadership skills.
Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability.
Experience managing and developing marketing/training teams.
Willingness to travel extensively across markets.
Strong digital marketing and social-media understanding will be an advantage.
