Full job description

Job Purpose

The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing events and promotional activities for a Digital and Home Appliance retail showroom company. The role focuses on creating impactful events that improve brand visibility, increase showroom footfall, support sales, strengthen relationships with brand partners, and enhance customer engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Management

Plan and execute promotional events across Digital and Home Appliance showroom locations.
Organize new showroom opening and inauguration events.
Plan product launch events for mobiles, laptops, televisions, home appliances, kitchen appliances, and other digital products.
Organize festive and seasonal promotional events, including special sales campaigns.
Prepare detailed event plans, schedules, checklists, and execution timelines.

Brand & Showroom Events

Coordinate with mobile, digital, electronics, and home appliance brands for product launches and promotional events.
Plan and execute brand activation programs and customer engagement activities.
Ensure effective brand visibility and promotional displays during events.
Coordinate showroom-level promotional activities to increase customer footfall and sales.

Vendor & Internal Coordination

Coordinate with event agencies, decorators, sound and lighting providers, printers, advertising agencies, and other vendors.
Obtain quotations and ensure event requirements are completed within the approved budget.
Coordinate with showroom managers, sales teams, marketing teams, and management for smooth event execution.
Manage and coordinate event staff and assigned teams.

Budget & Expense Control

Prepare event budgets and obtain necessary approvals.
Monitor and control event expenses.
Ensure proper utilization of approved event budgets.
Maintain records of quotations, vendor bills, invoices, and event-related expenses.

Event Reporting & Analysis

Prepare pre-event plans and post-event reports.
Analyze event performance based on customer participation, showroom footfall, sales impact, and customer feedback.
Identify areas for improvement and suggest ideas for future events.
Submit event completion reports to management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
Professional certification or Diploma in Event Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in Event Management, Retail Marketing, Brand Activations, Promotional Events, or Marketing Activities.

Experience in the Digital, Consumer Electronics, Mobile, IT Products, or Home Appliance Retail Industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
