Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in Udaipur, India. In this leadership role, you'll take charge of a specific section of our kitchen, driving excellence in food preparation, quality, and team performance. You'll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and innovation. This is an opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, mentor emerging talent, and contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment where creativity and precision go hand in hand.

Lead and manage your assigned kitchen section, ensuring consistent quality and timely execution of all dishes during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
Prepare and cook menu items using fresh, high-quality ingredients while maintaining strict adherence to recipes and presentation standards
Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff, fostering a supportive environment where team members can grow and excel
Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, recipe refinement, and innovative cooking techniques that elevate our culinary offerings
Maintain impeccable food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and kitchen protocols
Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate ordering needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Organize and coordinate your section efficiently, ensuring orders flow seamlessly and service runs without interruption
Work flexibly during peak service times, adapting to changing demands while maintaining composure and quality
Support the broader kitchen team, stepping in where needed and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work culture
Analyze kitchen performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and cost management

Qualifications

Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or in a similar kitchen leadership role within a busy restaurant or hospitality establishment
Strong culinary skill set with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu execution
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation protocols
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff while maintaining high performance standards
Passion for fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and culinary innovation
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks during high-pressure service periods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, ego-free approach to teamwork
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing kitchen demands while maintaining quality and efficiency
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to consistency and excellence in every dish
Willingness to embrace new techniques, ideas, and approaches to cooking and kitchen management
Positive attitude focused on creating memorable experiences for guests and supporting team members
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
Food safety certification or equivalent knowledge (preferred)
Experience with inventory management and cost control (preferred)
