Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager – Accounts

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Weekly Off: Sunday

Job Summary

Ashtamangal International is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and responsible Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager – Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, banking transactions, inventory, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of trading and distribution accounting, taxation, account finalization, and advanced MS Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting operations.
Record Purchase, Sales, Receipt, Payment, Contra, and Journal entries.
Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) and Ledger Scrutiny.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Process supplier payments and follow up on customer outstanding payments.
Prepare GST workings, reconciliations, and assist in GST return filing.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
Finalize accounts and assist in monthly and yearly closing activities.
Maintain stock records, inventory reconciliation, and stock verification.
Maintain Cash Book, Bank Book, General Ledger, and other accounting records.
Generate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.
Prepare financial reports, outstanding reports, and management reports.
Coordinate with Chartered Accountant, GST Consultant, Auditor, and Banks.
Verify purchase invoices and maintain proper accounting documentation.
Assist in internal and statutory audits.
Maintain records related to export documentation (basic knowledge preferred).
Coordinate dispatch documentation and related accounting entries.
Generate E-Way Bills and E-Invoices (where applicable).
Monitor banking transactions, fund management, and cash flow.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and timely completion of financial records.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

Mandatory Skills

Strong knowledge of GST (Mandatory)
Account Finalization (Mandatory)
Experience in Trading & Distribution Accounting
Knowledge of TDS Compliance
Bank Reconciliation (BRS)
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
Inventory & Stock Management
Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Table, IF, SUMIFS, Excel Reports)
Tally Prime / ERP Software
Financial Reporting & MIS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Additional certification in Accounting or Taxation will be an added advantage.

Experience

3–8 years in Trading, Distribution, or Manufacturing Industry.
Experience in Trading & Distribution business will be preferred.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month

(Salary will be based on experience, skills, and interview performance.)
