Digital Content & Social Media Intern

About HiLabs

Human Intelligence Labs Private Limited is focused on preparing students and early-career professionals for careers in software engineering and emerging technologies through structured training, practical projects and industry-oriented learning.

We are building an in-house marketing team and are looking for a hands-on content creator who can capture the real HiLabs experience and convert it into engaging digital content.

Role Overview

The Digital Content & Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating and publishing digital marketing content across HiLabs’ social media channels.

The role requires someone who can independently take photographs, shoot videos, write scripts and captions, edit short-form content and manage day-to-day social media activities. The candidate should understand digital marketing and create content with a clear audience, message and objective—not merely produce visually attractive posts.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and produce digital content based on the approved brand strategy and campaign briefs.
Shoot videos and photographs of classes, student activities, projects, faculty sessions, workshops and events.
Develop Reel concepts, scripts, captions, headlines, hooks and calls to action.
Edit Reels, student testimonials, faculty videos, promotional videos and other short-form content.
Create social media posts, carousels, stories, thumbnails and basic promotional designs.
Publish and schedule content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Manage comments, messages and routine audience engagement.
Identify relevant social media trends and adapt them appropriately for the HiLabs brand.
Repurpose a single activity or video into multiple content formats.
Maintain an organised repository of raw footage, photographs, project files and final content.
Create multiple content variations for organic and paid digital marketing campaigns.
Monitor content performance and share relevant observations with the marketing team.
Coordinate with students, faculty and team members for content shoots.
Ensure that all published content follows HiLabs’ brand, quality and communication guidelines.
Take ownership of additional content and social media responsibilities assigned by the management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in marketing, media, communications, design, filmmaking or a related field.
Practical knowledge of video shooting, photography and short-form content creation.
Ability to edit videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe tools or other design platforms.
Good copywriting, scriptwriting and communication skills.
Understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and their major content formats.
Basic understanding of digital marketing, audience targeting, platform algorithms, hashtags and performance metrics.
Confidence interacting with students, faculty and other team members while capturing content.
Ability to work independently from concept and shooting through editing and publishing.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience managing a social media page, college club, personal content channel or business account.
A portfolio containing Reels, videos, photographs, carousels, social media posts or promotional content.
Experience appearing behind or in front of the camera when required.
Basic familiarity with Meta Business Suite, social media scheduling tools and analytics.
Understanding of student-focused, educational or career-related content.

What We Are Looking For

We are not looking for someone who only edits videos provided by others or creates posts using standard templates. We want a proactive content creator who can identify content opportunities, move around the campus, interact with people, capture authentic moments and transform them into effective digital marketing content.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates should provide links or samples demonstrating their video shooting, editing, photography, writing or social media work. College projects, personal pages and independently created samples are acceptable.

Full-Time Opportunity

High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time role such as Digital Content & Social Media Executive, based on performance, ownership, conduct, role availability and organizational requirements

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
