Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
Perform ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Assist in finalization of accounts and year-end closing.
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns and other statutory compliance requirements.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and monitor outstanding payments.
Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for audit purposes.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors and customers.
Prepare MIS reports, cash-flow statements and management reports as required.
Monitor expenses and assist management in budget and cost-control activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
Support internal and statutory audits and provide required schedules and explanations.
Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
Good knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables and reporting.
Strong knowledge of reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
