Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Telemarketer to promote Fuel Genius, our AI-powered software solution for petrol bunks. The candidate will be responsible for calling petrol bunk owners/managers, introducing the product, generating interest, scheduling and occasionally conducting product demos, and supporting the sales team in converting leads.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to petrol bunk owners, managers, and decision-makers.
Generate qualified leads and schedule product demonstrations with interested customers.
Conduct basic product demos over phone/video call when required.
Follow up regularly with interested prospects and maintain the sales pipeline.
Maintain accurate records of every call and its status, including:
Call completed / not connected
Interested / Not Interested
Demo scheduled / Demo completed
Follow-up required
Converted / Lost
Reason for rejection, wherever applicable
Update customer information and follow-up dates in the company's CRM/Excel system.
Provide basic first-level support to existing Fuel Genius customers and resolve simple product-related queries.
Escalate technical or advanced customer issues to the appropriate team.
Coordinate with the sales and product teams regarding customer feedback and requirements.
Maintain regular follow-ups until the lead reaches a clear outcome.
Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly calling and lead-generation targets.

Required Skills

Good Tamil and English communication skills; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets/CRM tools.
Ability to maintain accurate call records and follow-up schedules.
Basic understanding of software products and ability to learn new software quickly.
Previous telemarketing, telesales, customer support, or software-sales experience is preferred.

Performance Expectations

The candidate will be expected to maintain a disciplined calling process and ensure every lead has a documented status and next action. Performance will be evaluated based on:

Number of quality calls made
Qualified leads generated
Product demos scheduled/conducted
Follow-ups completed
Sales conversions
Accuracy of call documentation
Customer support quality

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
