Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Type: On-Site

Location: Tunez, Impetus Electronics Private Limited, Plot No. 23, 24, 25, Survey No. 80/2, 2nd Floor, Right Wing, Outer Ring Road, Bellandur Village, Varthur Hobli, Bengaluru – 560103

Working Days & Timings

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support our finance and accounting operations. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting statutory and internal reporting requirements. This position is ideal for candidates who want to grow their accounting expertise in a structured and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities including recording transactions, maintaining books of accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial data in Tally Prime.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Handle vendor payments, customer invoicing, follow-ups, and reconciliations to ensure timely settlements and accurate outstanding balances.
Bank & Ledger Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Statutory Compliance Support: Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities, including data preparation, returns filing support, and documentation maintenance.
Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare basic financial reports, MIS statements, and summaries for management review, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Google Sheets Reporting & Dashboards: Maintain and update accounting trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports using Google Sheets, ensuring accurate, real-time financial data for management review and decision-making.
Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal postings, provisions, and finalization of accounts.
Audit Coordination: Maintain proper documentation and support internal and external audits by providing required schedules, records, and explanations.
ERP & Tools Usage: Utilize accounting and reporting tools such as Tally Prime, MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Sheets for accounting operations, reconciliations, and documentation.
Data Accuracy & Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to maintain data integrity and reduce financial risk.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, procurement) to resolve accounting-related queries and ensure smooth financial operations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and documentation practices.

Key Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline.
1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping roles.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime for day-to-day accounting operations.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and MIS preparation.
Working knowledge of Google Sheets for maintaining trackers, dashboards, and financial MIS reports.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
Experience in preparing and maintaining financial reports, schedules, and documentation.
Familiarity with MS Word for documentation, reports, and audit-related correspondence.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
