Job Description – Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer

Experience: 0-2 Years

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or

a related field preferred.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Azure infrastructure, Linux administration, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, security, and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure across Development, UAT/Staging, and Production.
Manage Azure VMs, App Services, Storage, MySQL, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, DNS, Load Balancers, and related resources.
Administer Linux/Ubuntu servers, including Nginx/Apache, users, permissions, services, disks, logs, and SSL certificates.
Create and maintain Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
Automate application deployments, releases, rollbacks, and routine operational tasks.
Monitor infrastructure and applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Troubleshoot server, application, networking, database, DNS, SSL, and deployment issues.
Implement Azure security, RBAC, NSGs, firewall rules, SSH security, secrets management, and server hardening.
Manage Azure backups, restore activities, and disaster recovery.
Work closely with development and QA teams for deployments and production support.

Mandatory:

Microsoft Azure – VM, App Service, Storage, MySQL, VNet, NSG, RBAC, Azure Monitor & Backup
Linux/Ubuntu administration
Nginx/Apache
Git/GitHub & GitHub Actions
CI/CD and deployment automation
Networking – TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, Firewall, VPN, Subnets
Basic Bash / PowerShell / Python scripting
Production troubleshooting and incident management

Good to Have:

Terraform / Ansible
Docker / Kubernetes / AKS
Azure Key Vault / Application Gateway
Azure DevOps
AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM)
Cloud cost optimization and security hardening

Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

Certification is not mandatory; practical Azure experience will be given higher priority.

Candidate Profile

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Linux
Experience managing production environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of cloud networking and security
Ability to work with developers and QA teams
Good communication and documentation skills

Important Hiring Criteria

Azure experience is mandatory. Priority will be given to candidates with real production experience in:

Azure VM + Linux + Nginx + MySQL + Azure Networking + GitHub Actions + CI/CD + Cloud Security + Monitoring + Production Troubleshooting.
