Job Summary

The Assistant Purchase Manager is responsible for supporting the procurement of food ingredients, beverages, kitchen supplies, packaging materials, housekeeping items, and other operational requirements for the restaurant. The role ensures timely purchasing of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining optimal inventory levels and building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and purchasing food, beverages, kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, packaging materials, and other restaurant requirements.
Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and negotiate the best prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef, Kitchen Team, Stores, and Restaurant Operations to understand daily and periodic purchasing requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of stock while minimizing wastage and overstocking.
Conduct regular market surveys to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all purchased items meet the restaurant's quality and food safety standards.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues related to shortages, quality, or damaged goods.
Verify supplier invoices, delivery notes, and purchase documentation before processing payments.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, contracts, and pricing.
Assist in vendor evaluation and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers.
Support monthly inventory audits and stock reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, hygiene standards, and statutory regulations.
Assist the Purchase Manager in preparing procurement reports, cost analyses, and budget monitoring.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
