Full job description

The Executive Assistant to the Pro Vice Chancellor provides comprehensive administrative and executive support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Pro-VC's office. The role includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and handling confidential correspondence. The incumbent prepares reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and minutes while ensuring timely follow-up on action items. They serve as a key liaison between the Pro-VC and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and coordination. The EA maintains official records, supports strategic initiatives, organizes institutional events, and upholds the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
MBA or Postgraduate qualification preferred.
Certification in Office Administration or Executive Assistance is an added advantage.

Experience

5–10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary, or similar role.
Experience in higher education, corporate leadership offices, or government organizations is preferred.
Experience supporting senior leadership (Vice Chancellor, CEO, Director, CXO, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Google Workspace and virtual meeting platforms.
Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
