What We're Looking For:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. This role will have a strong focus on test automation using Tricentis Tosca and will collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other QA team members to validate business requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
The ideal candidate is passionate about quality engineering, automation, and continuous improvement, with experience testing complex enterprise applications. Experience with Oracle EBS, Siebel, SAP, or Salesforce (SFDC) environments is highly desirable.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and execute manual test cases where automation is not practical or feasible.
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project review sessions to ensure quality requirements are properly addressed.
- Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Design reusable automation components and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
- Execute automation suites as part of release validation and production readiness activities.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution.
- Support CI/CD and continuous testing initiatives by integrating automated testing into deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain test data required for test execution.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, architects, and analysts to understand application behavior and business processes.
- Generate testing metrics, test execution reports, and quality dashboards.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of application issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, testing efficiency, and quality processes.
- Participate in peer reviews of test cases, automation scripts, and testing artifacts.
- Validate integrations between enterprise applications and supporting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience using Tricentis Tosca.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience creating automated test cases from business and functional requirements.
- Experience with regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and system testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and hybrid development environments.
- Experience validating data across front-end and back-end systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation framework.
- Expertise in:Model-Based Test Automation Module creation and maintenance Test Case Design Test Data Service (TDS) Test Case Templates Execution Lists Requirements Traceability Risk-Based Testing API and Web Service Testing Distributed Execution
- Experience developing and maintaining large-scale automated regression suites.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize unstable automation scripts.
- Experience integrating Tosca automation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with automation reporting and quality metrics.
- Experience validating web, desktop, API, and enterprise applications using Tosca.
- Ability to identify and automate high-value business processes and critical user journeys.
- Experience with one or more of the following automation tools:OpenText UFT / UFT One Selenium Playwright Postman SOAP UI
- Familiarity with source control and DevOps tools:Git GitHub Azure DevOps Jenkins
- Experience testing enterprise applications such as: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Siebel CRM SAP Salesforce (SFDC)
- Experience validating end-to-end business processes across enterprise systems.
- Experience supporting enterprise application upgrades, implementations, and enhancements.
- Knowledge of API, middleware, and integration testing.
- Experience working with cloud-based enterprise applications.
- SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
