Job Title: Mechanical Incharge (Civil Construction Company)

Location: Korba Chhattisgarh
Company: Darsh Earthcon Pvt Ltd
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Incharge to oversee and manage all mechanical activities, equipment, and machinery operations at our civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning, maintenance, and deployment of construction equipment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all mechanical operations at construction sites.
Ensure proper maintenance, servicing, and repair of construction machinery and equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Plan preventive maintenance schedules for all plant and machinery.
Maintain records of equipment utilization, breakdowns, repairs, and fuel consumption.
Coordinate with project managers and site engineers regarding machinery requirements.
Manage mechanical technicians, operators, and maintenance staff.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
Conduct equipment inspections and recommend replacements when necessary.

Requirements

Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in civil construction equipment management.
Strong knowledge of heavy construction machinery, batching plants, crushers, DG sets, and earthmoving equipment.
Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work at project sites and handle multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of equipment costing and fleet management.
Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance software.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
