Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager – Agri Advisor Lead to lead and manage a team of Agri Advisors and ensure high-quality agricultural advisory and farmer support.
The role will be responsible for team management, daily operations, quality monitoring, technical guidance, performance management, farmer issue resolution, and coordination with internal teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong agricultural knowledge, excellent people-management skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume advisory team in a target-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, guide, and manage a team of Agri Advisors.
- Allocate daily tasks, responsibilities, and farmer queries among team members.
- Monitor individual and team productivity.
- Conduct daily huddles and regular performance reviews.
- Coach Agri Advisors on technical knowledge, communication, and farmer handling.
- Identify performance gaps and provide appropriate training and support.
- Motivate the team to achieve productivity and quality targets.
2. Agricultural Advisory Quality
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of agricultural advice provided to farmers.
- Review complex crop, pest, disease, and nutrient-related queries.
- Provide technical guidance to Agri Advisors whenever escalation is required.
- Ensure recommendations are practical, scientifically sound, and aligned with approved product usage.
- Conduct regular quality audits of farmer interactions and advisory responses.
- Ensure proper follow-up on unresolved farmer queries.
3. Farmer Support & Escalation Management
- Handle escalated farmer queries and critical agricultural cases.
- Ensure timely resolution of farmer complaints and technical issues.
- Monitor recurring farmer problems and identify trends.
- Coordinate with technical/product teams for complex agricultural issues.
- Ensure a high level of farmer satisfaction and trust.
4. Floor Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Agri Advisory floor.
- Monitor team attendance, availability, workload, and productivity.
- Ensure adequate coverage during working hours and peak periods.
- Monitor pending, open, and escalated farmer queries.
- Ensure queries are handled within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain discipline and operational standards across the team.
5. Performance Monitoring & MIS
- Track key performance indicators of individual Agri Advisors and the overall team.
- Monitor metrics such as:
- Number of farmer interactions
- Query handling
- Resolution rate
- Response time
- Follow-up completion
- Advisory quality
- Farmer satisfaction
- Product recommendation accuracy
- Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Analyze team performance and recommend corrective actions.
6. Training & Capability Development
- Conduct regular training sessions for Agri Advisors.
- Train the team on crops, pests, diseases, crop nutrition, and agricultural practices.
- Train team members on Katyayani Organics' product portfolio and recommended usage.
- Conduct refresher training based on quality audits and farmer feedback.
- Develop FAQs, advisory guidelines, and knowledge-sharing material where required.
7. Product & Technical Coordination
- Maintain strong knowledge of Katyayani Organics' product portfolio.
- Coordinate with Product, Technical, Sales, and other relevant teams.
- Share farmer feedback and field-level insights with internal teams.
- Communicate new product information, recommendations, and technical updates to the Agri Advisor team.
- Support identification of emerging crop issues and farmer requirements.
8. Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in existing advisory processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement best practices for efficient farmer query handling.
- Improve team productivity without compromising advisory quality.
- Analyze frequently asked questions and develop standardized responses/processes.
- Support implementation of technology and digital tools for better advisory services.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Agriculture / M.Sc. Agriculture preferred.
- Candidates with relevant agricultural qualifications and strong experience in agri-advisory or agri-inputs may also be considered.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience, preferably including team-handling or supervisory experience.
- Experience in Agri Advisory, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, Agri-tech, Agri-inputs, Farmer Support, or related sectors preferred.
