Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Clerk

Remote Contract Position – Delhi, India

Macro Truck Sales is seeking an experienced, professional Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team on a remote contract basis from Delhi, India.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is looking to establish a long-term relationship with a rapidly growing Canadian company. As we continue to develop and expand our offshore operations, there may be opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement for the right individual.

Position Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide hands-on support in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including:

Processing and maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable records
Preparing and entering invoices, payments and other accounting transactions
Monitoring customer accounts and outstanding receivables
Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies
Maintaining accurate vendor and customer records
Organizing accounting documentation and supporting records
Preparing reports and spreadsheets as required
Communicating professionally with management, customers, vendors and other team members
Assisting with additional bookkeeping and accounting-related duties as required

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

A minimum of 3+ years of steady, hands-on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
Strong working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite
Excellent Excel skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
The ability to work independently and professionally in a remote environment
A demonstrated history of reliability and consistency in previous positions

Dedicated Home Office Requirement

This is a remote position; however, candidates must have a dedicated professional home office.

The office must be a separate, designated workspace away from the general living areas of the home and suitable for handling confidential company, customer and financial information.

Candidates who do not have an appropriate dedicated home-office environment should not apply.
