Patient Oriented: -

Personal attention

the

patient,s

identity, before treatment

Observe the reactions

during the

treatment.

Instructions to

given

about the do's

and

don't

during and after

treatment

treat the patient

with

correct data and follow

the

instructions

given for the

specific

patient by the

oncologist

and

physicist

any take

port

films and

cone beam

for the patient

for which

prescribed.

Correction if any

informed

and approval taken from oncologist

sending

the

images

their

Monitors through

com,

before

treating.

Time to time

check

the

mental and

emotional

status of

the

patient

and enquiring about the

well being of the

patient

from

their

relatives or

attendants. Helping them wherever

and whichever way

possible.

Mould making

and CT is also done by the

technologists,

prior

to the

planning

and treatment.

After

the

CT,

the

images are

transferred

the

CMS

/FOCAL

SIM

the

TPS

[Treatment

Planning System]

according

the physicist,s

instructions.

Inventory

Oriented:

Make sure all the

necessary

accessories

are

place

and

well

maintained. if

not, to be indenting

in time and

being

equipped

for

the procedures.

Maintaining

books for the

same

Thermoplastic

moulds which are

used

for

the immobilization

for the

patient

is also

maintained by the

technologists and indenting

time and

usage recorded.

Medication

Only

the patient

comes to

with

prescription

explain the

usage of the

medication

Department

Partake in the

seminars

and

conferences

the

department

and

. also maintain

updated activities

of the department.
