Job Description – Customer Sales Associate (Jewellery Retail)

Position: Customer Sales Associate
Industry: Jewellery Retail
Experience: 3–5 Years (Jewellery Retail Sales Mandatory)

Salary: As per company standards

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and enthusiastic Customer Sales Associate with experience in the jewellery retail industry. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong sales ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and understand their jewellery requirements.
Assist customers in selecting gold, diamond, silver, platinum, and gemstone jewellery.
Explain product features, pricing, quality, certifications, and making charges.
Build strong customer relationships and provide a premium shopping experience.
Achieve individual and store sales targets.
Cross-sell and upsell jewellery collections and accessories.
Handle billing coordination, product demonstrations, and customer queries.
Maintain attractive product displays and showroom cleanliness.
Ensure proper handling and security of jewellery inventory.
Support stock audits, inventory management, and store operations.
Follow company policies, SOPs, and customer service standards.

Required Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer handling and relationship-building ability.
Good sales and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of gold, diamond, and precious jewellery products.
Ability to work in a target-driven retail environment.
Basic computer and billing system knowledge.
Professional grooming and presentation.

Eligibility

Minimum Graduate (preferred).
1–5 years of experience in jewellery retail sales is mandatory.
Experience with brands such as Tanishq, CaratLane, Kalyan Jewellers, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, Reliance Jewels, ORRA, Senco Gold, TBZ, PNG Jewellers, or similar jewellery retailers is preferred.
Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.
