Job Title: Senior Technical Service Engineer / Customer Service Lead – Electric Vehicles (EV)

About Speedways Electric Speedways Electric is a pioneer in the electric vehicle industry, dedicated to engineering and manufacturing high-performance, eco-friendly mobility solutions. We are seeking an experienced, technically adept Senior Technical Service Engineer to lead our customer support operations, manage our field service team, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.

Role Overview As the Senior Technical Service Lead, you will bridge the gap between complex EV engineering and top-tier customer service. You will act as the primary escalation point for technical customer queries, direct the day-to-day operations of our service technician team, and occasionally conduct on-site field visits to resolve critical issues and perform technical audits.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Resolution & Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for complex customer inquiries, diagnosing EV issues, and delivering clear, empathetic, and rapid solutions.
Service Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the service engineering team, managing task assignments, scheduling, and standardizing diagnostic protocols.
On-Site & Field Visits: Travel to customer locations when necessary to resolve high-priority technical escalations, conduct field inspections, and deliver specialized technical guidance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the R&D, Quality Control, and Manufacturing teams to feed real-world service data back into production, helping eliminate recurring defects.
Reporting & Metrics: Maintain service logs, track response/resolution times, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to boost customer satisfaction scores.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Technical Experience: 4+ years of hands-on technical experience in the EV or Automotive sector, with deep working knowledge of electric vehicle architecture (batteries, BMS, motors, controllers, and wiring harnesses).
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts clearly to non-technical customers.
Leadership Ability: Proven track record in managing, mentoring, or leading field service technicians and customer support teams.
Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for short-notice customer site visits as needed.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
