Job Description
Responsibilities: Review and verify the accuracy of billing data and claims before submission to ensure proper reimbursement. Follow up on unpaid claims, resubmitting them as necessary to expedite payment processing. Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve claim issues, denials, and discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding and billing regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Generate reports on billing activity and financial performance to monitor efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Assist with patient billing inquiries, providing clear and accurate information to support customer service. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding for claims submission.
