Job Overview
We are looking for an SEO Executive with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Content SEO, and Link Building.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword research, competitor analysis, WordPress, SEO tools, backlink building, and content optimization. Experience or knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) will be an added advantage.
The candidate will be responsible for improving organic search rankings, website visibility, traffic, and overall SEO performance through data-driven strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Page SEO
- Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis.
- Optimize website pages for better organic rankings and user experience.
- Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, and image alt tags.
- Perform content optimization based on keyword performance and search trends.
- Identify topic clusters and content opportunities.
- Implement and optimize Schema Markup / Structured Data where required.
Technical SEO
- Conduct regular website SEO audits and identify technical issues.
- Monitor crawl errors, indexing, redirects, canonical tags, broken links, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and Core Web Vitals.
- Coordinate with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Monitor website speed, mobile usability, and overall SEO health.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that may affect search engine visibility.
Off-Page SEO & Link Building
- Develop and execute ethical, white-hat link-building strategies.
- Research relevant and high-quality backlink opportunities.
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis.
- Perform backlink audits and monitor backlink quality.
- Execute Guest Post Outreach and communicate with relevant website owners and publishers.
- Manage guest post placements and backlink acquisition.
- Identify potentially harmful or low-quality backlinks and recommend appropriate action.
Content SEO & WordPress
- Publish and format SEO-friendly blogs using WordPress.
- Optimize blog posts before publishing.
- Manage internal linking, images, categories, tags, URLs, and SEO settings.
- Use SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
- Coordinate with content writers to ensure content follows SEO best practices.
- Optimize existing website content based on SEO performance and search trends.
AEO & GEO
- Optimize content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and featured snippets.
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility in People Also Ask, voice search, and AI-generated search results.
- Explore Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies for AI-powered search platforms.
- Optimize content for AI search experiences such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
- Create structured, authoritative, useful, and semantically relevant content.
- Stay updated with emerging AI search and SEO trends.
SEO Research & Reporting
- Conduct competitor research and identify keyword, content, and backlink gaps.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.
- Analyze website performance using SEO and analytics tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on SEO data.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and search engine best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of practical experience in SEO / Search Engine Optimization.
- Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Content SEO.
- Hands-on experience with keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Experience with link building and guest post outreach.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS.
- Experience using Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or similar SEO plugins.
- Good understanding of search intent and semantic SEO.
- Basic knowledge of Schema Markup / Structured Data.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of AEO and GEO is preferred.
