Job Title: General Manager

Company: Kaya Hotels & Resorts
Location: Pelling, Sikkim
Salary: ₹35,000+ per month (Based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Kaya Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our property in Pelling, Sikkim. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining superior hospitality and promptly resolving guest concerns.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue generation, and profitability.
Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and guest retention.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, and Reservation teams to promote the property and maximize bookings.
Conduct regular operational reviews and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
Recruit, train, and evaluate employees while fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Maintain the hotel's reputation by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and guest relations.
Ability to lead teams, solve operational challenges, and work under pressure.
Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to relocate to Pelling, Sikkim.
