Full job description

A Sales Manager of the Rooms Division oversees room revenue and occupancy strategies. They drive property-wide profitability by developing sales pipelines, managing group bookings, optimizing pricing (RevPAR), and aligning frontline staff with targeted promotional campaigns and upselling initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Revenue Optimization: Track booking pace, analyze market competitors, and establish dynamic pricing strategies alongside the revenue and reservations teams to maximize yield. [1, 2, 3]
Sales Strategy Execution: Proactively generate and close corporate accounts, group bookings, and event room blocks. Maintain relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and key national accounts. [1]
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Bridge the gap between sales and operations. Brief the Front Office and Housekeeping teams on VIP arrivals, special requests, and group itineraries to ensure flawless execution. [1, 2]
Upselling & Promotions: Design training modules for front-desk staff to promote upgrades, packages, and cross-selling amenities to increase per-guest revenue. [1, 2]
Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare short-term and long-term occupancy forecasts, analyze sales statistics, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like ADR (Average Daily Rate) and RevPAR. [1, 2, 3]

Core Competencies

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of yield management, forecasting, and expense control.
Communication & Negotiation: Ability to pitch packages, close contracts, and resolve client escalations effectively.
Hospitality Tech: Familiarity with modern PMS (Property Management Systems), CRM tools, and channel managers.
Leadership: Capability to motivate and train sales representatives and operational staff to achieve Budgeted quotas.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Marketing.
Experience: Typically 3–5 years in hotel sales, with a proven track record in driving room revenue.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
