Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:
Collaborate with design and production teams to develop and execute new products based on market trends and customer preferences.
Ensure timely approval of prototypes and samples.
Order Management:
Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure smooth order processing from inception to delivery.
Maintain clear communication between clients and the production team to meet deadlines.
Market Analysis:
Conduct research to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support decision-making.
Suggest new designs or products to cater to emerging market demands.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
Source raw materials and packaging supplies while maintaining quality standards.
Negotiate prices and timelines with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels to ensure the availability of products and materials.
Work closely with the inventory team to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards before dispatch.
Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and stock.
Provide regular reports to management on merchandising activities and outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the paper or packaging industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyse market trends and implement strategies.
Knowledge of design and production processes in the paper industry is an advantage.
