Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter with strong experience in a creative/digital marketing agency and a proven track record of working with FMCG and product-based brands.

The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual thinking, excellent writing skills, and the ability to develop campaign ideas, brand communication, digital content, and compelling copy across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative concepts, campaign ideas, communication platforms, and brand narratives for FMCG and product-based brands.
Write compelling ad copies, social media content, campaign headlines, taglines, scripts, product communication, and brand stories.
Work closely with designers, art directors, strategists, social media, and account teams to execute campaigns.
Translate brand briefs and consumer insights into strong creative ideas and communication.
Develop copy for digital campaigns, social media, films/reels, print, packaging, websites, and other brand touchpoints.
Participate in campaign brainstorming, ideation, and creative presentations.
Understand different brand tones, audiences, categories, and communication styles and adapt writing accordingly.
Work on multiple brands and campaigns while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Present and explain creative concepts and copy to internal teams and clients when required.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience as a Copywriter / Senior Copywriter in a creative, advertising, or digital marketing agency.
Mandatory agency experience.
Mandatory FMCG / product-based brand experience.
Proven experience working with recognised brands and executing integrated campaigns.
Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking, conceptualisation, and execution.
Excellent command of English with strong writing, storytelling, and conceptual skills.
Ability to develop ideas beyond individual copy pieces and think in terms of campaigns and brand communication.
Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, branding, advertising, and digital communication.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple briefs and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Portfolio – Mandatory

Candidates must share a relevant portfolio showcasing:

FMCG / product-based brand work
Campaigns developed and executed
Creative concepts and copy
Digital/social media campaigns
Brand communication
Work for recognised/good brands
Specific contribution to campaigns where applicable

Candidates without a relevant portfolio and demonstrated campaign execution experience will not be considered.
