Role description

AML – Financial Crime
GT INDUS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) services are designed to help organizations comply with AML regulations
and prevent financial crimes. It provides end to end solutions with effective tools and procedures to enhance
organizations' regulatory compliance standards to establish a sound AML compliance program and control
framework. Our team of AML & Financial Crimes experts helps clients in assessing their BSA /AML & OFAC
Program, identify key risk areas and recommend remediation measures in accordance with applicable regulations.
The team is also equipped to assist clients in various components of their AML Program and Regulatory
responses.

Responsibilities

Conducting Due Diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC) research for checks for new and existing clients.
Review and verify customer documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Identify and assess potential risks related to money laundering and financial crimes.
Understanding information documentation requirements for corporate structures in KYC context/ evidence

requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance-related issues and provide guidance.
Monitor and report suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices.
In depth knowledge of corporate structures i.e., privately owned, or public companies, trusts and

partnerships.

Executing and reviewing negative media s screening and escalate where necessary.
Monitor and report suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
Create a positive learning culture, coach, counsel, and develop junior team members.
Should have strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

Skills

Skills:

Operations background demonstrating good core knowledge of applying KYC within a financial

institution (new customer take-on or customer due diligence remediation)

Technical knowledge of KYC, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions is a good to have
Attention to detail in execution in the areas of AML/ KYC
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interact successfully with cross functional teams and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and problem solving, self-motivation and possess an enquiring mind.
Demonstrate good team working skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

Education / Professional Experience/ Qualifications

0 to 1 years of postgraduate experience in financial accounting.
Experience in money laundering and understanding regulatory standards, KYC/ CDD/EDD will be an added

advantage.

Big 4 or a multinational organization experience will be an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Master’s in business administration (major in Finance)/US CMA
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) – Good to have
