Applications Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technical and commercial support to the sales team by preparing quotations, identifying equivalent products, and delivering application support to customers. The role requires strong technical aptitude, customer interaction, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
- Identify equivalent or alternative products and recommend suitable solutions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and internal sales teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, product presentations, and application reviews with customers.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to address customer requirements.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support order processing by ensuring technical accuracy and documentation completeness.
- Resolve technical queries and assist in product selection and application-related issues.
- Maintain customer records, technical documentation, and product data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with industrial controls, automation, electromechanical products, or control panels is preferred.
- Prior experience in application engineering, technical sales support, quotations, or customer support is an advantage.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in industrial automation, electrical switchgear, control panels, PLCs, sensors, relays, electromechanical components, or industrial control products will be preferred.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
