We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with NDT Level 2 certification to join our team and ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using methods such as UT, RT, MT, and PT as per industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain NDT reports, quality documentation, and records.
- Monitor and evaluate quality performance of products and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct internal inspections and audits to ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
- Assist in identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the production and design teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Support third-party inspections and customer quality audits.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Certified NDT Level 2 (minimum in two methods such as UT and PT/MT).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Sound knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and related quality systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the stainless steel industry.
- Knowledge of welding standards and surface finish inspection.
- Exposure to customer audits and third-party inspection processes.
