Job Title: Electrician (Maintenance)

Job Summary
The Electrician (Maintenance) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment within the hospital to ensure uninterrupted operations and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
* Maintain electrical panels, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting systems, and power distribution systems.
* Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, batteries, and emergency power backup systems.
* Attend electrical complaints from hospital departments and resolve them promptly.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical faults and safety hazards.
* Ensure proper functioning of HVAC electrical controls, pumps, motors, and other utility equipment.
* Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
* Follow hospital safety protocols and electrical safety standards.
* Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors during maintenance and repair work.
* Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas such as OT, ICU, Emergency, and Laboratories.
Qualifications
* ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
* 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
* Experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, hotels, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Skills Required
* Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, UPS, and DG sets.
* Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
* Understanding of electrical safety practices.
* Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
Working Conditions
* Rotational shifts, including nights and holidays if required.
* On-call availability for emergency maintenance work.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
