Job Summary:
The Skating Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting skating training sessions for students. The coach will help students develop skating skills, maintain safety standards, prepare students for competitions, and promote discipline, fitness, and sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular skating classes for students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach basic to advanced skating techniques, balance, coordination, and safety practices.
- Prepare lesson plans and training schedules as per the school’s sports program.
- Ensure the skating area and equipment are safe and properly maintained.
- Monitor students during practice sessions to prevent injuries and ensure discipline.
- Identify talented students and provide advanced coaching for competitions and events.
- Organize and assist in inter-house, inter-school, and other skating competitions.
- Maintain attendance and performance records of students.
- Coordinate with the Sports Department regarding equipment requirements and event planning.
- Promote teamwork, confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification or training in Skating Coaching from a recognized institute/association.
- Minimum 1–2 years of coaching experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of skating safety rules and first-aid procedures.
Skills Required:
- Strong skating and coaching skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle children patiently and motivate them.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor / skating rink-based work.
- May be required to work during school events, competitions, or extra practice sessions.
Salary:
As per school norms and experience.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,100.00 per day
