o ensure all hotel facilities, guest rooms, and banquet halls are in perfect working condition. This role is responsible for the immediate repair and preventive maintenance of all electrical and plumbing systems to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance & Repair
- Systems: Maintain and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting fixtures (indoor, outdoor, and emergency lighting).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical malfunctions in appliances, guest room outlets, switches, and distribution boards.
- Safety: Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety codes and prevent fire hazards.
- Equipment: Inspect and service heavy equipment including generators, water pumps, and kitchen appliances.
2. Plumbing Maintenance & Repair
- Installations: Install and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers).
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix leaks, blockages, or water pressure issues in guest rooms and public areas.
- Heating/Cooling: Maintain water heaters (geysers), solar water systems, and central cooling pipes.
- Sanitation: Ensure the proper functioning of the hotel’s sewage and drainage lines to prevent odors or overflows.
3. Operational Coordination (Aligned with Hotel SOPs)
- Room Readiness: Coordinate with the Front Office (FO) to perform "Deep Maintenance" on rooms before guest check-in.
- Event Support: Ensure banquet halls have proper power supply and functional plumbing for events.
- Documentation: Maintain a log of all repairs and materials used for the Accounts Department and audit purposes.
4. Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Conduct routine daily inspections of the plant room, water tanks, and electrical panels.
- Perform scheduled servicing of taps (aerator cleaning) and electrical breakers to prevent "Lost Leads" due to facility failure.
